Local/State News Jefferson County Historical Society gardens open to the public July 3, 2020 WATERTOWN, NY —  The Jefferson County Historical Society is pleased to announce that our gardens and grounds are open for visitors. Stop by to enjoy our beautiful flowers, plants, birds, and the architecture of our historic buildings. Please respect social distancing and wear a mask while visiting. Our museum is still closed but we hope that you can enjoy us from the outside for a while! We even have benches to sit and read or enjoy a delicious lunch from a café nearby.
