The Development Authority of the North Country (Authority) is accepting applications for a full time Engineering Director. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
ABOUT THE POSITION: The Director of Engineering will be responsible for providing leadership to engineering employees, oversee safety and environmental compliance, manage capital construction projects, manage water quality services contracts, oversee Environmental, Health and Safety programs (EH&S) for the division, develop business opportunities with local governments and provide technical support for internal/external customers on matters related to engineering and EH&S.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and professional license, with seven plus years’ experience working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA), municipal infrastructure financing programs and experience with relationship management of local governments/organizations.
