WATERTOWN, NY — John Alan Billings, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at the Samaritan Medical Center. He was 41 years old.
Born July 13, 1978, the son of John A. Sr. and Julia A. (Come) Billings, he attended South Jefferson High School in Adams.
He worked at various locations in his short life which include the High Life, Porterdale Farms, and Dollar General.
Besides his parents John is survived by his daughters (who were his true loves), Brianna of Kansas, Raine of Watertown; a sister, Heather Grobbs, Adams; his nephews, Jordon of Adams, Johnathan of Oklahoma; and his fiancée, Maria Sprague.
John will be remembered as a great friend to many. He will be loved and missed by everyone who knew him.
A funeral will be held at a date and time convenient to the family. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
