Duffy was born on April 21, 1959 Lowville, NY, a son of the late Glenn and Mary “Dodie” Donnelly Fredenburg and graduated from Beaver River Central School. Duffy was a long time resident of Beaver Falls and was well known in the Lewis County area from the years he worked with his father running the family business, Fredenburg’s General Store. He enjoyed working at his most recent employment at Glenfield BOCES in the Audio Visual department but he had to retire when he became disabled.
Duffy especially enjoyed following Nascar and dirt track racing. He was a true “Blaniac” with Dave Blaney and his son Ryan being his favorite drivers. For several years he spent summers in Ohio near Mercer Race track and recently made it his permanent home. He liked being surrounded by nature and his many friends at the track and campgrounds.
