ADAMS, NY —Â John L. Lavery, Adams, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. He was 66 years old.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at the Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
John was born March 22, 1956, in Fulton, NY, the son to the late John Francis and Cathy Emmit Lavery.
John worked for many years on the family farm located in Ellisburg, NY.
Surviving are two brothers, Michael (Crystal) Lavery, Evans Mills; Michael Lavery, Adams; a sister, Theresa Lavery, Adams; three nephews, Michael and Nichols Lavery, Evans Mills and Jackson Lavery, Florida.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Hugh and a nephew, Thomas Lavery.
