ADAMS, NY — Jolene M. Jones, 36, of Adams and formerly of Clayton, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 18, 2019, at her home.
A calling hour will be held at the Clayton United Methodist Church on Sunday, October 27, from 3 – 4 PM followed by the funeral service at 4 PM with Rev. Earl LaLone, pastor, presiding.
Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.
Jolene was born Nov. 2, 1982, in Binghamton. The family moved to Clayton and she graduated in 2000 from Thousand Islands High School.
She had worked for a time as a home health aide who truly loved her clients.
She attended Clayton United Methodist Church.
Jolene was a collector of porcelain dolls and enjoyed garage sales, being on the River, and fishing.
She is survived by her parents, Ernest L. “Ernie” and Patricia (Pat) A. Jones, Clayton; mother, Maryjane Hamilton, Binghamton; three children, Colton, Zoe, Clayton and Hannah, LaFargeville; two brothers, Joshua, Albany and Mark Jones, Binghamton; stepbrother, Duane Rood, Syracuse; two sisters, Julie Engle and husband Mark, LaFargeville and Serena Williams and husband Jimmy, Endicott; stepsister, Cherie Fetterman and husband Bob, Cazenovia; sister-in-law, Jammie Hayes, Apalachin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A brother, Ernie Jones, Jr., died before her.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jolene’s name may be made to the Clayton United Methodist Church, 324 John St., Clayton, NY 13624.
