Julie Lynn Longton White, 57, formerly of Clayton

CLAYTON, NY — Julie Lynn Longton White, 57, of Indianapolis, IN, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Friday, June 4, 2021, after a 9-year long battle with cancer.

Born on Dec. 20, 1963, she resided with her parents and siblings in Clayton, NY. She graduated in 1981 from the Thousand Islands School District.

During her lifetime she became a wife, mother, and grandmother. She also was a licensed Zumba instructor, active in Liferight of Watertown, NY, and Light In Darkness Ministry in Indianapolis, IN. Julie loved gardening, her dogs Lance and Max, and studied alternative medicine at CCNH. Her favorite Bible scripture was Isaiah 40:31.

Survivors include her husband, Steven White (Indiana), 5 children by previous marriages, Gavin Lawler (address unknown), Trevor Tackett (Columbus, OH), Gabrielle Tackett (Anderson, SC), Julianne Tackett (Indianapolis, IN), Christiana Tackett (Indianapolis, IN), mother and step father, Shirley and Phillip Owens (Clayton, NY), father, Marcus (Rick) Longton (Watertown, NY), brother and wife, Michael and Deb Ferguson (Clayton, NY), sister, Riki Longton (Watertown, NY), and one grandchild, Lincoln Tackett Cunningham (Anderson, SC) and several nieces and nephews. Previous marriages to Brian Tackett (Anderson, SC) and Tom Lawler (Pennsylvania) ended in divorce.

There will be a celebration of life at Airport Christian Fellowship in Dexter, N.Y. at future date.

Local arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.
