Karen J. Daub, 59, Clayton

CLAYTON, NY —  Karen J. Daub, 59, passed away June 3, 2021, at her home in Clayton, NY, surrounded by her loving family and her dog Ellie Mae.

Karen was born Nov. 28, 1961, in Watertown, the daughter of Warren W. and Jane Matzell Daub.  Karen was a graduate of Watertown High School.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Household Merit, Community Center for Alcoholism of Jefferson County, Planned Parenthood, and most recently for Suburban Propane.

Karen was an active member of  the American Legion Colon-Couch Post 821 Ladies Auxiliary.

Karen was a true lifelong River Rat, and an avid NY Yankees fan.  Karen had a lucky streak, in Karen’s memory pull a tab for her at the legion.

Karen is survived by her siblings, Steven M. Daub, Clayton, NY, Deborah A. Daub (Donald), McDonough, GA, Patricia L. Daub, Watertown, NY, and Diane E. Daub, Ocoee, FL; nieces, Rachel J. Hall (Travis, Mackenzie, Charlotte), and Alison R. Daub-Sychra (Jordan, Conrad). She is also survived by her river family, Val Korczakowski and (Erica, Sydney).

Karen was predeceased by her parents, and her partner Richard A. Dickson.

As per her wishes there will be no services.
