WATERTOWN, NY —Â A funeral Mass for Kathryn S. Marshall will be said 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow the Mass in Glenwood Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Kathryn passed away Friday, Aug. 20, at Samaritan Medical Center. She was 99 years old.
Born July 26, 1922, in Watertown, a daughter of Roswell and Mary (Bodine) St.Amour, she was educated locally and graduated in 1940 from Watertown High School. Following high school Kathryn graduated in 1941 from the School of Commerce.
Kathryn began her employment in the office of Conde Hardware Company. Later, Kathryn was the secretary in the claims department of the Agricultural Insurance Company, and eventually New York Casualty Insurance Company; a position she would retire from in 1987.
Kathryn was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years, and a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Kathryn is survived by her children, James and Lori Marshall of Copenhagen, Kathy and Steve Patchen of Watertown; her brother, David (Mary-Ellen) St.Amour of Syracuse; and her sister in-law, Penny St. Amour of Syracuse. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Marshall, and two brothers, Paul St. Amour and John St. Amour.
