LOWVILLE, NY — Lewis S. Sanford, Jr., 45, Glenfield, was charged on Nov. 9 in the town of West Turin with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
:”This investigation stems from a child abuse hotline call that was made. It was reported that on multiple occasions Stanford had made sexual contact with a 13-year-old minor that was asleep, waking the minor,” deputies wrote.
Stanford was arraigned in Croghan CAP Court, issues an order of protection and releases on his own recognizance.
Deputies did not release further details of the arrest.
