LOWVILLE, NY —  Lewis County received reports of the first two cases of COVID 19 on March 28, 2020. As of today, there are a total of 9 cases of COVID-19 in the county.

Lewis County Public Health encourages the community to continue to protect themselves, their families and neighbors by following public health guidance for social distancing and washing your hands. Now, more than ever, being a good neighbor means staying home. If you must go out for an essential task or essential work, CDC recommends the use of a cloth face covering in public settings where social distancing strategies are difficult (e.g. grocery stores and pharmacies).
