Man accused of pushing woman holding 2-year-old boy, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Bryant D. Pignone, 42, of 1407 State St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:35 a.m. Thursday, June 6, at his residence with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Pignone is accused of shoving Ashley B. Scanlin, 34, who was holding a 2-year-old boy during a domestic incident early Thursday at their home, police said. Ms. Scanlin fell back into a wall striking her head during the incident, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
