WATERTOWN, NY —Â Â James Washington Jr., 55, of 19325 US Route 11, Apt. 116, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:16 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at his residence with petit larceny.
He is accused of stealing two packages of lighters with a total value of $2 when he exited Family Dollar, 146 Arsenal St., with the items in his hand and failed to pay at about 5:28 p.m. Feb. 11, according to court documents.
He is summoned to appear March 13 in City Court.
