Watertown man violated order of protection, police say

WATERTOWN, NYAntwon D. Carter, 22, of 661 Factory St., Apt. 11, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 2:46 a.m. Saturday, July 14, in the 200 block of Franklin Street with second-degree criminal contempt.

Mr. Carter is accused of violating the terms of a Family Court stay-away order of protection by attempting to access a vehicle while the protected party, Bobbi J. Hunter, 34, Watertown, was sitting in it at about 2:17 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Franklin Street, according to court document.

He was being held pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
