CHAUMONT, NY — Marshall Marshall, 68, of County Route 125, Chaumont, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Becker-Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont.
Marshall was born March 9, 1950, a son of Ray and Kathryn (Adams) Marshall in Watertown, NY.
Marshall dedicated his time to family and his life’s work to education. His most satisfying professional accomplishments were associated with his position as Superintendent of Pulaski Academy & Central Schools. His commitment to impacting the lives of others spilled over into every aspect of his life. He enjoyed sailing, traveling, and doing home improvements. His hallmark was not just his name, but also his booming, quick laugh.
Important community service organizations that he played an active role in were Rural Migrant Ministries, Pulaski Economic Development Task Force, and the Town of Lyme Planning Board.
Marshall is survived by his mother, his wife DeEtte (Root) Marshall; a daughter, Katrina (Rick) Homer, Cleveland, OH; and a son, Eric (Lisa) Marshall, Glen Park, NY.
Marshall is predeceased by his father.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in his name to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601.
