THERESA, NY — Mary A. Arik, 93, of County Route 21, Theresa, passed away, Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Carthage.
Born Jan. 15, 1928, in New Jersey, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Puchalek, she attended local schools in New Jersey.
Mary married Charles J. Arik of New Jersey. He passed away in 1987.
She was a quality control technician at Bomax, Watertown, NY, for 15 years. Then she worked as a nanny for the Thomson Family in Alexandria Bay, NY, for 10 years.
Mary enjoyed knitting, crocheting, macramé and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Ernest and Nancy Arik, Whidby, WA, and Charles J., Jr. and Linda Arik, Theresa, NY; four grandchildren, Autumn Arik and companion, Gary Spradlin, Columbus, OH, Charles E. Arik and companion, Kazue, Mount Vernon, WA, Joshua F. and Christina Arik, Theresa, NY and Cody Arik, WA; two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Elizabeth Arik; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
