Mary C. Lindsay, 75, Clayton

CLAYTON, NY —  Mary C. Lindsay, 75, Clayton, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse.

Mary was born March 17, 1947, in Watertown, a daughter of the late Charles A. and H. Elizabeth “Betty” (Marshall) Cipullo. She was a 1965 graduate of Clayton Central School and from the first graduating class at Jefferson Community College.

She worked as a secretary for McCormick’s and American Boat Lines and had been employed at both O’Brien’s Restaurant and the Half Way Chalet. Mary then worked as a customs broker for LIvingston Brokerage on Wellesley Island.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

She was an avid reader and Yankee fan and enjoyed league bowling and softball.

Mary is survived by two sons, Jonathan D. Wild, Clayton and Domenic C. Wild, Leesburg, FL; four brothers, Joseph C. Cipullo and wife Charlotte, Matthew G. Cipullo and wife Louise, John T. Cipullo and wife Angela, and Anthony J. Cipullo, all of Clayton; a sister, Sheila A. Glenn, Clayton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Mary’s Church. There are no calling hours.
