WATERTOWN, NY — Please be advised that motorists will encounter rolling lane closures in support of a utility installation over I-81 between Exit 41 and Exit 44 in Jefferson County.
The rolling lane closures will be carried out by New York State Police (NYSP) for the northbound and then the southbound lanes of I-81 near Exit 42 in Adams Center. In addition to the rolling lane closures, traffic will also be controlled at on-ramps during the work period.
Work is expected to begin at approximately 6 A.M. on Saturday, July 16 and is expected to be complete by noon. The work will be weather dependent.
Motorists should expect to encounter a fifteen-minute delay for each rolling lane closure and plan accordingly.
