New York State Zoo at Thompson Park Zoo to host Military Appreciation Day Celebration
WATERTOWN, NY  — New York State Zoo at Thompson Park will be hosting its annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday (May 18th) from 10:00am to 5:00pm. All military personnel get in FREE with ID and military families get in 50% off.
The event is being sponsored by Kogut Contracting who will be providing goodies for kids and adults alike. The Coal Docks Restaurant from Cape Vincent will also be on grounds with some of their homemade treats. Prizes will be given out throughout the day. A face painter will also be on-site in the afternoon.
Regular admission rates apply for any non-military guests and, as always, members get in free.
