North Country Family Health Center’s 20th Annual Night on the River to be held at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel

WATERTOWN, NY — North Country Family Health Center’s (NCFHC) annual spring fundraiser, A Night on the River, will be held at the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel, Clayton, on Friday, May 10, 2019. The 20th annual fundraising event’s cocktail reception and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will offer guests an evening of
food, drinks, music, and silent auction opportunities. Music will be provided by Oceans Below.

The evening’s highlight is the variety of silent auction items donated by local individuals and businesses. Some of the featured auction items included this year will be: two $2,000 gift certificates to Sundance Leisure; a three night stay in Lake Placid at a luxurious Adirondack Chalet; a two night stay in Key West, Florida at the Curry Mansion Inn; an overnight stay and brunch at Saint Lawrence Spirits Château, Clayton, and two tickets to a Red Sox-Dodgers baseball game at Fenway Park, Boston on July 12, 2019.

To help NCFHC celebrate their 20th consecutive year of fundraising Hart Hotels graciously donated 20 overnight stays to four of their luxurious Harbor Hotel Collection properties including: 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel, Clayton, New York; Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, Watkins Glen, New York; Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, Celoron, New York (on Chautauqua Lake); and the Portland Harbor Hotel, Portland, Maine. Raffle tickets are on sale now, $20 each, and once purchased will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win one of the 20 donated one-night stays
at the above mentioned Hart Hotel properties. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at A Night on the River and 20 winners will be announced throughout the evening’s festivities. Individuals who purchased raffle tickets do not need to be present to win. For the second year Stephens Media Group is hosting a pre-event auction on Froggy 97 on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Individuals will have the opportunity to bid via the radio station on a two-person fishing trip with Captain Rich Clarke, SignMan Charters, Clayton, New York and on a signed guitar by country music star Dylan Scott, famous for his number one country hit song “My Girl.” “Our on-air live auction was such a hit last year – we are looking forward to providing Froggy listeners the opportunity to call, or go to Froggy’s Facebook page, to bid on our two amazing auction items this year,” comments April Fallon, Marketing & Community Relations Director. “Adding an item from such a successful country artist to our live radio auction is amazing – we appreciate
the opportunity to offer the guitar to one lucky North Country resident!” Those who win the fishing trip and signed guitar through the on-air live auction will be provided tickets to A Night on the River.

New this year staff at NCFHC have teamed with Jordan Essentials representative, Megan Stockman, to sell a variety of Jordan Essentials products to assist in the fundraising efforts for the 20th Annual Fundraising event.

Products being sold are: Custom Lotion Bars ($13 – available in a variety of fragrances); a Joyful Jordan Box including soap, hand sanitizer, and shea body butter ($21); and the Happy Feet Collection which includes peppermint essential oil and cream ($36). North Country Family Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides high-quality, affordable healthcare to approximately 11,000 North Country residents annually at its community-based locations in Watertown, Lowville, and LeRay and at its school-based locations.
