WATERTOWN, NY – Washington Summit Associates Managing Partner Michael E. Lundy and Catherine M. O’Brien, owner of Northern Nurse Practitioners – Family Health, PLLC, are jointly announcing that Northern Nurse Practitioners will be the first tenant relocating into The Commons at Washington Summit (formerly called the C.A.N.I. Building), Outer Washington Street.
Plans call for the practice to occupy approximately 4,500 square feet of space and be in the building by early spring 2020.
Ms. O’Brien commented on the move of her practice to the Washington Street building and location. “We were looking for additional space as our practice has grown significantly in the last year since we added the aesthetic line of services to our practice. We were referred to Mr. Lundy from a practice at Washington Summit and he had just announced his purchase of the C.A.N.I. property. The plans he announced, in terms of renovation and updating the building, blended with its location on Washington Street, really made it an attractive package for us. We will be able to have the space renovated to our design and needs for the patients we serve, including separate entrances for the medical and aesthetic portions of the practice.”
Mr. Lundy welcomed Northern Nurse Practitioners to The Commons at Washington Summit. “They are a perfect fit for the facility and the first of a number of new tenants which we will be announcing. They represent why medical practices and professionals relocate to Washington Summit. New updated, energy efficient space, designed to the needs of their patients and staff, all in a great accessible location.” In addition, Mr. Lundy commented on how the development of the former C.A.N.I. Building and property was the latest expansion of Washington Summit. “This is a great opportunity for Washington Summit to expand as part of a major redevelopment of the property, which will not only include the 39,000 sq. ft. C.A.N.I. Building, but also the additional eight acres of property. One of the most important aspects of the acquisition is the fact it is directly adjacent to Washington Summit. We plan on developing a connector road directly from the former C.A.N.I. site to the rest of Washington Summit and it will be part of the thriving medical and professional environment we have created there, allowing us further growth. Other than our four remaining building lots that are still available, all of our current buildings at Washington Summit are 100% full. We have grown into the home of 16 different practices, plus Samaritan’s Summit Village and have over 600 total employees working there. “
