NYSP: 49-year-old woman dies in Franklin County house fire

BANGOR —  On April 4, 2020, at approximately 4:06 a.m., State Police responded to 1150 County Route 22 in the town of Bangor for a report of a structure fire.

One occupant, Brian A. Snyder, 44, safely escaped the residence and was treated for smoke inhalation.

However, another occupant was found deceased in the residence after the fire was extinguished.

49-year-old Corinna M. MacRabie was pronounced deceased at the scene by Franklin County Coroner Brian Langdon.

MacRabie’s body was removed to the University of Vermont Healthcare Network at the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh where an autopsy will be performed on April 7, 2020.

The fire is not deemed to be suspicious, however, State Police and New York State Fire Investigators continue to investigate.
