NYSP: Black River woman accused of damaging athletic field at Carthage High School

CARTHAGE, NY —  Takaria L. Jackson, 32, Black River, NY, was charged on Oct. 29 by state police with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony, second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Jackson is charged with damaging the Carthage High School athletic field and a lawn on Rock Lane with her vehicle, troopers said.

She is also accused of threatening a male with a pipe after he confronted her about damaging his neighbors’ lawn, troopers said.

She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear Nov. 12 in Champion Town Court.
