OSWEGO, NY — Oswego Sheriff’s Office blotter report for June 1, 2018:
On 5/31/18 at 1:12 a.m., Thomas M. Groth, 43, of 39 Morey Rd., West Monroe, NY was arrested for Menacing, second-degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, fourth-degree, both class A misdemeanors following a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Parish where he allegedly threatened the victim with a knife. Mr. Groth is scheduled to answer the charges on 6/12/18 in the Town of Parish Court.
On 5/31/18 at 4:24 a.m., a 16-year-old male residing in the Town of Granby was charged with Criminal Contempt, second-degree, a class A misdemeanor stemming from an incident in the Town of Granby where he was in the presence of the victim of which has an active order of protection filed against him. The male was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond with a return to court on 6/4/18.
On 5/31/18 at 2:37 p.m., a 17-year-old male residing in the Town of Orwell was charged with Criminal Mischief, fourth-degree, a class A misdemeanor following an incident in the Town of Mexico where he allegedly damaged a desk. The male is scheduled to answer the charge on 6/19/18 in the Town of Mexico Court.
On 5/31/18 at 4:50 p.m., Nicole M. Holland, 23, of 38 Birch Lane, Apt. 38C, Oswego, NY was arrested for False Written Statement and Falsely Reporting an Incident, third-degree both class A misdemeanors following the investigation into an incident that allegedly occurred on 4/29/18 in the Town of Scriba. Ms. Holland is scheduled to answer the charges on 6/28/18 in the Town of Scriba Court.
On 5/31/18 at 5:30 p.m., Jules D. Stewart, 27, of 1133 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Town of Sandy Creek Court. Mr. Stewart was arraigned in the Town of Sandy Creek Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond with a return to court on 6/7/18.
On 5/31/18 at 7:40 p.m., Nathaniel R. Gordon, 20, of 381 Klocks Corners Rd., Oswego, NY was arrested for Assault, third-degree and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, both class A misdemeanors following an incident in the Town of Scriba. Mr. Gordon was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of Scriba Court on 6/7/18. At the same time, Joshua R. Christopher, 22, of 32 W 2nd Street, Oswego, NY was arrested for Assault, third-degree, a class A misdemeanor. Mr. Christopher is scheduled to answer the charge on 6/14/18 in the Town of Scriba Court.
On 6/1/18 at 6:09 a.m., Douglas H. Furbeck, 26, of 3 Mary Street, Oswego, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the City of Oswego. Mr. Furbeck was arraigned in the City of Oswego Court and is scheduled to return at a later date.
