On 5/6/18 at 1:14 a.m., Eugene E. Bessette, 25, of 2490 SR 104, Apt. B, Mexico, NY was arrested for DWI following a property damage accident on Main Street in the Village of Mexico, 20 feet west of Ames Street, that reportedly occurred when the 2004 Chevrolet he was operating exited the roadway and struck a sign before a fence and 2012 Ford registered to David R. Bates, 67, of 3407 Main St., Mexico, NY parked and unoccupied.  The collision caused the Ford to collide with a 2006 Dodge registered to Debora M. Butler, 60, of 3407 Main Street, Mexico, NY, also parked and unoccupied.  Mr. Bessette then reportedly put the Chevrolet in reverse causing it to strike the northeast corner of a residence.  Mr. Bessette is scheduled to answer the charge on 5/15/18 in the Town of Mexico Court.

 

On 5/4/18 at 9:11 a.m., Nicole Lynn Earle, 40, of 1705 SR 104A, Sterling, NY was operating a 2007 Pontiac east on SR 3 in the Town of Hannibal approaching the intersection with CR 7 when she reportedly lost control in reaction to an uninvolved vehicle, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and collide with an earth embankment.  Ms. Earle was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital.

On 5/5/18 at 4:33 a.m., Carlos M. Castro Blanco, 38, of 4530 Rue Charles Lacoste, Saint Hubert, QC was operating a 2015 Peterbuilt tractor trailer registered to Transport TFI 16 S E C, of Saint-Laurent, QC north on I81 in the Town of Richland, 1 mile south of SR 13, when he reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a mile marker.  Mr. Castro Blanco was issued a UTT for Crossing Road Hazard Markings.  Driver distraction seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 5/5/18 at 8:05 a.m., Michael H. Poston, 39, of 224 E 5th St., Oswego, NY was charged with AUO, 2nd degree (8 scoffs on 4 dates) and Speeding following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Scriba.  Mr. Poston was arraigned in the Town of Scriba and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $250 cash or $500 bond with a return to court on 5/10/18.

On 5/5/18 at 8:26 p.m., a 15-year-old male was charged with Juvenile Delinquency for a crime if committed by an adult, would constitute the charges of Criminal Mischief, 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor and Criminal Trespass, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor. The youth is accused of unlawfully entering a property in the Town of West Monroe and damaging a shed.  The youth and his guardian were issued Juvenile Appearance Tickets referring them to youth court. At the same time, Timothy M. Gower, 28, of 110 Marsden Rd., Syracuse, NY was arrested for Criminal Mischief, 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor; Criminal Trespass, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.  Mr. Gower was arraigned in the Town of Constantia Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of West Monroe Court on 5/14/18.

On 5/5/18 at 8:42 p.m., Tonya L. Hansson, 29, of 297 Peat Bed Rd., Hannibal, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the City of Oswego Court.  Ms. Hanson was turned over to the Oswego City Police Dept. for further processing.  Ms. Hansson was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and is scheduled to answer the charge on 5/21/18 in the Town of Granby Court.

On 5/5/18 at 8:40 p.m., Jason A. Roberts, 37, of 3991 CR 17, Williamstown, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of Oswego County Court.  Mr. Roberts was transported to the OCJ and held awaiting court to be in session on 5/7/18.
