BROWNVILLE, NY —Â Paul R. Sanford, 78, Brownville, passed away December 31, 2020, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse.
Paul was born Aug. 17, 1942, the son of Elvyn M. and Iris McCarthy Sanford.
He married Ella M. LaLonde on Dec. 16, 1972, at the Salvation Army Citadel with Capt. William Goodliff officiating. She died on Feb. 23, 1994.
He was very fond of singing and playing Gospel music on his guitar. Over the past 25 years, Paul played at numerous tent meetings and blessed many by introducing some of the old time Gospel greats to the younger generation.
A private burial will be in Felts Mills Cemetery and there are no public services.
