DEXTER, NY — Peter J. Ellsworth, Dexter, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Rome. He was 59 years old.
The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Born Aug. 25, 1962, in Watertown, a son to Harold, Jr. and Betty (Jobson) Ellsworth, he was educated locally.
Peter was a “Jack of all trades”, but primarily was a stay-at-home father to his family whom he loved.
On Aug. 2, 1980, Peter married Victoria Limoges in Watertown.
Peter enjoyed fishing and car rides with his family.
Surviving besides his wife of 41 years are his children, Chasity (Rob) Dake of Watertown, Jessica Ellsworth of Watertown, Peter (Jessica) Ellsworth of Watertown, Robert (Tiarra) Ellsworth of Albany, Harold Ellsworth (companion Adrian Humphries) of Dexter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, four great granddaughters, a great grandson, a great grandchild on the way, and six siblings.
Besides his parents, Harold and Betty, he was predeceased by four siblings, Timmy, George, Harold, and Hope.
