The Watertown Police Department has implemented a new policy of delaying the release of their arrest reports on a daily basis.

Robert E. Marion III, 28, of Winthrop Street, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the 200 block of Central Street with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, and a single count of second-degree harassment. Marion is accused of violating the terms of a stay away and refrain from order of protection by calling and texting the protected party during a domestic incident at about 12:43 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of E. Main Street, according to court documents. He is additionally accused of violating the terms of a Family Court refrain from order of protection when he grabbed the protected party, a 30-year-old woman, by her hair and struck her in the side of the head with a closed fist at about 1:51 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at an apartment in the 100 block of E. Main St., police said. Marion was also charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and illegal signal less than 100 feet. Marion was held for arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
Sierra M. Soluri, 37, of Keyes Avenue, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:27 p.m. April 8 at 146 Arsenal St. with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property – credit card, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Soluri is accused of possessing and using a stolen EBT benefits card to purchase $170.08 worth of merchandise at about 4:40 p.m. April 4 at Family Dollar, 146 Arsenal St., according to court documents. Soluri is summoned to appear April 23 in City Court.
Aaron R. Clemons, 47, of 126 Maywood Terrace, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 4:16 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at 126 Maywood Terrace with first-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies. Clemons is accused of holding a store clerk at knife point and forcibly stole between $500 and $600 from the cash register at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Valero gas station, 701 Mill St., according to court documents. “Additionally, the defendant has been previously convicted on Dec. 10, 2024, for the offense of falsely reporting a crime/catastrophe/emergency in the third-degree,” police wrote. Clemons was arraigned Tuesday evening in CAP Court and ordered held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $75,000 cash.

Vanvleet III, age 30, of Canton, NY, was arrested for harassment 2nd: physical contact, criminal obstruction of breath/apply pressure and criminal mischief: intentionally damaging property. Vanvleet was arraigned in front of Judge Velez of Hermon Town Court and ROR’d until a later court date.

Arrested at 2:31 PM for Criminal Contempt second-degree and Harassment second-degree. On Feb. 23, 2025, located at 27 Rowley Street, the defendant disobeyed a duly served order of protection issued by the Saint Lawrence County Family Court by engaging in a course of conduct consisting of entering the driveway of 27 Rowley Street multiple times serving no legitimate reason, annoying and alarming the victim, police said. Defendant was arrested and processed at the Saint Lawrence County Correctional Facility where he is incarcerated on other charges. The defendant was provided with an appearance ticket for the Town of Gouverneur Court.
