BROWNVILLE, NY — Reta J. Kizzer, 90, Brownville, passed away Thursday morning, Jun 20, 2019, at her home.
Born July 28, 1928, in Brownville, the daughter of Lewis and Virginia Phelps Majo, she graduated in 1945 from Dexter High School.
She married Carl Kizzer on Oct. 7, 1946, in Sackets Harbor.
Reta worked at Calavo Fruit Co., Pine Cleaners and retired from Bomax after 20 years in assembly.
She is survived by a daughter, Marsha Kizzer of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Hope Kizzer of Dexter, six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Majo of Brownville.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl Kizzer in 1986 and a son Bruce Kizzer in 2004, and a brother Malcolm in 1981.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, in Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Sally Buyea officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
