CLAYTON, NY — Ricky A. Gushlaw, 58, formerly of Gouverneur, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, at his home in Clayton.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Depauville United Methodist Church with Rev. Earl Lalone, pastor, presiding. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.
Ricky was born Dec. 12, 1960, in Alexandria Bay, the son of the late Alton J. “Butch” and Shirley M. Cox Gushlaw.
A marriage to Trudy Clark ended in divorce.
He is survived by his three brothers, Joseph E. Gushlaw and wife Tina, Danny L. Gushlaw and companion Susan Brown, and Chris M. Gushlaw, all of Clayton, his sister, Margie M. Docteur, Redwood, several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His father died Sept. 20, 2014, and his mother died Feb. 5, 2019. He was also predeceased by a brother, Jeff J. Gushlaw.
