LAFARGEVILLE, NY —Â Robert C. Calhoun, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, after a lengthy illness.
Per his request there will be no services.
Arrangements are with the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton.
Bob was born September 17, 1944, in Watertown, the son of Ora (Bill) and Muriel Morin Calhoun. He grew up in Cape Vincent, where he graduated school.
On May 31, 2006, he married the former Denise Norfolk in Clayton.
Bob worked his farm for a long time, and also worked as a Mechanic for 1000 Islands Bridge Authority and Gilco.
He was a member of the F.F.A.
Bob enjoyed traveling, keeping his lawn mowed just right, and especially going on his Sunday afternoon drives.
Amongst his survivors is his wife Denise; his daughter, Whitney and her fiancé John Shanahan of Dexter; his granddaughter, Paighton Shanahan of Dexter; and his life-long friend, Darryl Dingman of LaFargeville.
