ADAMS CENTER, NY — Robert S. Avery of North Fort Meyers, Fla., and formerly of Adams Center, NY, passed away on April 24, 2024.
Robert was born May 22, 1937, in Adams Center, was the son of DeWitt and Evelyn Greene Avery. He graduated from Adams Center Central School and served in the U.S. Army.
For the past last 20 years, he worked at a golf course in North Fort Meyers, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Anderson Avery, daughters, Karen, Dorothy and Kristen Avery; two sons, Kenneth and Scott Avery; a brother, David Avery, a sister, Diane Avery Neal; several grandchildren, stepsons, stepdaughter, nieces and nephews.
There are no funeral services.
Burial will be at the family’s convenience in Union Cemetery, Adams Center.
