Ronald C. LaMora, 61, Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, NY — Ronald C. LaMora, 61, of Chase-Harrington Manor, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at his home.

Born March 23, 1957, in Syracuse, NY, a son of Carl and Betty Benson LaMora, he was a 1975 graduate of Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, NY. After high school he attended and graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a bachelor’s of science degree and continued his education at the University of Florida with Doctorate in Law degree.

Ronald was a personal injury attorney for Paul Lee & Associates, Port Richey, FL, for 10 years. He was also a call center manager for DialAmerica and a bartender at O’Toole’s Restaurant and Pub, Watertown, NY, for a time.

His greatest past time was playing the organ with his nephew, Seth.  He also enjoyed family history, family recipes, writing computer programs, Spanish and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edwin “Pete” Fikes and his wife, Kris of Philadelphia, NY and Jeff LaMora, Syracuse, NY; a sister, Betty Fikes Pillsbury, Huntersland, NY; two goddaughters, Sarah and Abbey Shaw; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

His parents, a sister, Edna Eileen Fikes and two brothers, Rodney Clark LaMora and Randall Carl LaMora all died previously.

Services will be at a later date.
