HOUNSFIELD — Javed Ali, 35, of 119 LaGuardia Place, Sackets Harbor, was stopped by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 1:26 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield for speeding 80 mph in a 55-mph zone and was also charged with driving while intoxicated.
His blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
He is summoned to appear Nov. 13 in Hounsfield Town Court.
