BOONVILLE, NY — “On August 06, 2026, members of the Village of Boonville Police Department participated in executing search warrants at two smoke shops in the village of
Boonville.
The Oneida County District Attorney Office, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, the Oneida County Health Department, the NYS Dept of Taxation & Finance, the NYS Office of Cannabis Management and the Village of Boonville Police Department partnered in a joint investigation into illegal operations at the NC Smoke Shop located at 13187 SR 12 and the Z1 Smoke Shop located at 13410 SR 12, both in the village of Boonville.
As a result of the execution of the search warrants, both locations were immediately padlocked by the NYS Office of Cannabis Management.
The NC Smoke Shop was found to be in possession of approximately 30 cartons of untaxed cigarettes, 1000 flavored nicotine vapes, 77 assorted Kratom items and assorted cannabis products.
The Z1 smoke shop was found to be in possession of approximately 130 cartons
of untaxed cigarettes, 137 flavored nicotine vapes, 23 assorted Kratom items and
assorted cannabis products.
The investigation is continuing.”
