WATERTOWN, NY — Seven North Country apartment communities owned and operated by the United Group of Companies, Inc. (UGOC) are changing names and forming one unified brand called “Parkstead Properties.”
The brand changes and new look were considered after several apartment and clubhouse renovations at the multi-family apartment communities, located in Watertown, Copenhagen, Philadelphia, Clayton and Gouverneur. The apartment communities’ new names, previous names, and addresses are listed below:
-Parkstead Clayton, formerly Lonsway Hill, located at 100 Joseph Lonsway Drive in Clayton
-Parkstead Copenhagen, formerly Deer River Estates, located at 700 Phalen Drive in Copenhagen
-Parkstead Gouverneur, formerly Constitution Court, located at 500 Sleepy Hollow Road in Gouverneur
-Parkstead Philadelphia, formerly Friends Settlement, located at 300 Quaker Avenue in Philadelphia
-Parkstead Watertown at Black River, formerly Mountaineer Estates, located at 256 Michigan Avenue in Watertown
-Parkstead Watertown at City Center, formerly Truscott Terrace, located at 207 Wealtha Avenue in Watertown
-Parkstead Watertown at Thompson Park, formerly Gabriel Court, located at 1815 Olmstead Drive in Watertown
“UGOC has been renovating apartments, townhomes and clubhouses at these communities since the summer of 2017. With a fresh look and new amenities, we knew that it was the perfect time to rebrand and create more of a partnership between communities to make a renter’s apartment search in the North Country even easier,” said Greg Eves, UGOC’s spokesperson.
Apartment seekers can now visit www.liveatparkstead.com to compare locations, floor plans and amenities.
United Group’s two management companies will continue to manage the seven properties. Parkstead Clayton, Parkstead Watertown at Black River and Parkstead Watertown at City Center are managed by United Plus Property Management, and Parkstead Copenhagen, Parkstead Gouverneur, Parkstead Philadelphia, and Parkstead at Thompson Park are managed by United Realty Management Corporation.
A grand reopening event will be announced at a later date.
