State police seek public’s assistance with ATV theft in town of LeRay

WATERTOWN, NY — State police are requesting the public’s assistance regarding a larceny of a Honda 200X three-wheeler from a residential property in the town of LeRay.

On Nov. 7, 2018, the owner was riding his Honda three-wheeler on his property near the shoulder of State Route 37 when he became stuck in the mud and was unable to restart the machine. He decided to leave it on his property overnight.

On Nov. 8, the owner went to the store to get engine starter, went back to his property and discovered the three-wheeler had been stolen from the side of the road.

The three-wheeler is described as a red, white and blue 1986 Honda 200X.  A grey colored pickup truck was seen in the area with an ATV loaded in the truck bed that matches the description of the stolen ATV.
