WASHINGTON, DCÂ —Â Congresswoman Elise Stefanik endorsed Ogdensburg Mayor Wayne Ashley today for reelection, urging city voters to reelect to another term to lead the community.
“Mayor Wayne Ashley has worked closely with me to help Ogdensburg and the North Country,” Congresswoman Stefanik said. “When the city needed funds for a new fire truck, we worked together to make it happen.”
“When the city needed help with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the wake of historic flooding that damaged its waterfront, we worked together.”
“Wayne has been a great partner for me as mayor,” she said.”There’s a great deal more that we hope to do together to improve the economy, help recruit more businesses to the area, and help existing businesses to expand and create more jobs.”
