WATERTOWN, NY — Stephen F. Coughlin, 58, Watertown, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Dale Besaw and Karl Blair co-presiding. Burial in Calvary Cemetery will follow the service.
Prior to the calling hour and funeral service, the family will be attending daily mass at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 8:15 AM and invite others to join them.
Steve was born in Watertown on October 29, 1960, son of Joseph and Claire Monnette Coughlin and he was a graduate of General Brown High School.
A marriage to Deidra Case ended in divorce. He spent 23 years, from 9 years old until adulthood, employed by CanAm Speedway and motor sports was his most favorite enjoyment.
He also enjoyed landscaping and working with stained glass.
Steve is survived by his father, Joseph, Watertown, five siblings, Mary, Patrick, Joseph, Jr., Irene, and Shawn, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His mother, Claire, died November 1, 2016.
