10 fire departments spend hours at fire scene at 35590 Jackson II Road in town of Champion in sub-zero temperatures

CARTHAGE, NY — Firefighters from Great Bend, Felts Mills, Deferiet, Carthage, West Carthage, Natural Bridge, Calcium, Black River, Evans Mills and Fort Drum responded at 7:37 p.m. Friday to a reported structure fire at 35590 Jackson II Road in the town of Champion, according to the Jefferson County 911 Dispatch Center.

Carthage Ambulance and fire investigators were also dispatched to the scene.

Firefighters cleared the scene at 1:25 a.m. Saturday.

Further information has not been released by any of the fire departments or the Jefferson County Fire and Emergency Management Office.

The structure built in 1959 is owned by Mark A. and Jacqueline M. Dobransky, according to Jefferson County property records.
