Syracuse and UConn renew football series

SYRACUSE, NY  Syracuse and Connecticut have agreed to play four times between 2022 and 2027, the schools announced today in a joint release. The Orange will host Connecticut in the Carrier Dome on Sept. 6, 2025 and Oct. 3, 2026. Syracuse will travel to East Hartford to face the Huskies on Sept. 10, 2022 and Nov. 6, 2027.

“We look forward to our four-game series with UConn,” Syracuse Director of Athletics John Wildhack said. “This is a game our fans have always embraced, both at the Dome and in Connecticut, where we have a strong alumni concentration.”

Syracuse and Connecticut have played 11 times since 2004, with the Huskies holding a slim 6-5 series advantage. The Orange have won the last three pairings, including a 51-21 triumph in the most recent matchup in 2018.
