WATERTOWN, NY — The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crews will begin the process of surface milling on College Heights and Gaffney Drive between Coffeen Street and Commerce Park Drive. This portion of this project will begin Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 a.m.
College Heights, Gaffney Drive and 1200 Block of Coffeen Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic during this portion of project and motorists are asked to use alternate routes. Local residents should make arrangements to park on nearby side streets while this work is underway.
Public Works crews will install temporary barricades, signage and have flagmen on-site throughout the duration of the project. If traveling through, motorists should exercise caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
