WATERTOWN, NY — The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crews are in the process of finalizing the road repairs in the 200 Block of West Main Street between Cooper Street and Davidson & Main Intersection.
The EASTBOUND lane of West Main Street between Cooper Street and Davidson & Main Ave intersection will be closed to thru traffic during the hours of 4:00pm Tuesday evening until Mid-day on Wednesday, September 29th
City crews are also in the process of making sewer repairs in 300 & 400 Blocks of
West Main Street; As a result of this work being performed West Main Street between Davidson & Main Ave Intersection and Curtis Street will be closed to thru traffic during the hours of 07:30 to 4:00pm. This road closure will be in place for the remainder of this week.
Public Works crews will have a detour in place as well as message boards, temporary barricades & signage throughout the duration of the project.
Public Works crews will follow standard protocol to establish traffic control on-site
while the project is underway. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes on these dates. If traveling through, motorists should exercise caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
