WATERTOWN, NY —Â As work continues on the new Watertown Citizens Advocate building, the new water service being installed will require additional time beyond what was originally expected. The closure of Boyd St between William St. and S. Rutland St. will now be expanded to the end of the day on Friday, December 2, 2022. As before, local traffic will have access to their driveways for the duration of the closure.
Local traffic will have access to their driveways. Motorists should expect delays, and/or detours to be taking place. Please take caution when encountering work crews and always remain clear of the construction area.
The contractor crews will install temporary barricades and signage for the duration of the street closure. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the project. If in this area, motorists should exercise extreme caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
