WATERTOWN, NY — The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works crews will begin the process of paving Gaffney Drive between Coffeen Street and Commerce Park Drive on Thursday, November 8th @ 7:30 am, weather permitting. Paving is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Gaffney Drive will be reduced to 1 lane of traffic during this time and motorists are asked to please use an alternate route. Public Works crews will install temporary barricades, signage and have flagmen on-site throughout the duration of the project.
Local residents should make arrangements to park on nearby side streets while this
work is underway. If traveling through, motorists should exercise caution when encountering work crews and work zones.
