Traffic Alert: Route 11 near Philadelphia

WATERTOWN, NY —  The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that crews are scheduled to begin milling operations in advance of paving on a portion of US 11 in the Towns of LeRay and Philadelphia, Jefferson County on Monday, May 10. Milling work is expected to be completed by close of business, Friday, May 21.

Work will begin near the intersection of US 11 and Rockbrook Road in the Town of LeRay and will continue along US 11, ending near the Village limits in Philadelphia.

Paving is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 21 and is expected to be complete by close of business Thursday, May 27.

Motorists traveling through the highway work zone should expect lane closures with traffic controlled by flaggers and pilot vehicles and travelers should expect minor delays.
