REMSEN, NY —Â State Police in Remsen is investigating a fatal one-vehicle crash that occurred on July 18, 2020, on Joslyn Road in the town of Remsen, Oneida County.
The preliminary investigation has revealed, at approximately 2 pm, a 1970 Pontiac GTO, operated by Richard L. Palazzoli, 74, from Weedsport, NY, was traveling westbound on Joslyn Road when he lost control of the vehicle, drove off the south shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree.
Mr. Palazzoli was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
