2 women accused of screaming outside Watertown nightclub, resisting arrest

WATERTOWN, NY — Vernette B. Blaine, 21, of 26718 Boyer Circle, Evans Mills, was charged by Watertown police at 2:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in the 100 block of Franklin Street with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Ms. Blaine is accused of yelling at two males and ignored police requests to cease screaming, according to court documents. She also allegedly pulled her arms away several times as officers were attempting to handcuff her, police said. She was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 police bail pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.

Tiffany M. Bledsoe, 27, of 9697-D Fitzsimmons Loop, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 2:01 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in the 100 block of Franklin Street with disorderly conduct, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest. Ms. Bledsoe is accused of approaching a male subject on a sidewalk in an aggressive manner while screaming and ignoring orders to leave the area and calm down, police said. She is also accused of wrestling with officers, refusing to place her hands behind her back and kicked an officer in the groin, according to court documents. She was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 police bail pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
