BELLEVILLE, NY —Â On Dec. 4, 2020, the Belleville Henderson Central School District received confirmation from Jefferson County Public Health that a student within our district has tested positive for COVID-19.
The student in question has been remote learning since November 24, 2020 and we have been advised by Jefferson County Public Health that risk to other students and staff is minimal at this time.
Therefore, no contact tracing directly involving the District is expected.
We are releasing this information for transparency purposes.
However, the District is not permitted to release any additional information at this time to protect the privacy rights of students and staff.
