UPDATE: School ballots will be accepted by mail through June 16

WATERTOWN, NY — Governor Cuomo has extended the School Budget Vote and Elections to June 16.  Ballots will be accepted by mail through June 16.

School Budget Vote & School Board Election Extended to June 16, 2020 per Governor Cuomo’s executive order.

School Budget

RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Watertown City School District, Jefferson County, New York, is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $77,006,009 for the 2020-2021 school year, and to levy the necessary tax thereof.

Proposition  #1

RESOLVED,  pursuant to Education Law Section 259, shall the sum of $75,000 Dollars be raised by annual levy of a tax upon the taxable real property within the Watertown City School District, which such funds shall be separate and apart from the annual school district budget, for the support and maintenance of the Flower Memorial Library until thereafter modified by a future vote of the qualified voters of the Watertown City School District.
